Carousel Farm has the resources and ability to claim, purchase and race horses at several racetracks. With the lucrative purses now being offered throughout the Pacific Northwest, Alberta, and across Canada it has become commonplace to ship from track to track. Of course a road-trip to cheer on your horse can always be an exciting adventure and when you come home a winner its especially rewarding.

A day at the track can be an unforgettable experience. The visit from the reserved box or table terrace to the paddock before the race offers you an 'inside look' into the intriguing world of horseracing. The unique perspectives of the trainers, jockeys and various personalities at the track come together in the pre-race strategy.

From the post parade to the gate, fans make their choices, place their wagers and anxiously await the contest ahead. When the starting gates spring open and a field of competitive thoroughbeds is on their way, the world takes a break for a moment while all our attention is focused on the efforts of horse and rider as they try with all their ability to carry our 'stable colors' to the finish line first.

Win or lose, we know the odds and after all, its the thrill of being in 'the game' that offers us this unique chance of a lifetime.

When your horse hits the wire on top the thrill is unequalled. Being a part of the winning procession down to the winner's circle while accepting congratulations from your fellow owners is particularly satisfying. Having your picture taken with your horse, rider, stable team members and guests is definitely the icing on the cake.

A visit to the stable area during morning training hours offers a view of the sport not often seen by the majority of racing fans. The stable environment is alive during the wee hours of the morning and filled with intrigue. Sharing a cup of steaming coffee at the rail and 'talking horses' with your trainer while your horse gallops through the early mist can be one of the most enjoyable experiences you'll have as an owner.
